Original Hamburger


1 Onion
1 Tbsp. Soja oil
2 Garlic Cloves
600g Minced Beef
Salt and Pepper
Marjoram
Oil and mixed spices

Peel and finely chop the onion. Slowly fry in oil till transparent. Peel and crush the garlic cloves and add to onion. Then add to the minced beef together with salt, pepper, and marjoram to taste. From this mixture make 8 equal sized burgers and brusch with oil and sprinkle on mixed spices. Put on grill and cook for 5 - 8 minutes each side, turning frequently.


Banana Burger


2 Slices of White or Brown Bread
500g Minced Meat ½ and ½ Pork/Beef
1 Egg
1 - 2 Banana's
Water (to soak the bread in)
Salt and Pepper
Curry powder
The zest from ½ a Lemon
Oil
Mixed spices


Soak the bread in water for 2 or 3 minutes then drain off, squeezing out excess water. Add this to the mince and egg and mix thoroughly. Add salt,pepper and curry powder to taste. Add the grated lemon zest and mix once more. Cut the banana or banana's into cubes and add to mixture. From this mixture form 8 equal sized burgers, brush with oil and lightly sprinkle on mixed spices, or favourate grill spice mixture. Grill each side for 4 - 6 minutes turning frequently.

Beef and Red Pepper Skewers

500g Minced Beef (very finely minced)
1 Egg yolk
1 Red Pepper
2 - 3 Tbsp. Oil
Salt and Pepper
Hot Paprika powder


Mix the minced beef together with salt and pepper (to taste). Roll this mixture into small balls and sprinkle lightly with hot paprika powder ( you know yourself if you like it hot or not). Wash and clean out the red pepper and cut into squares. Take a skewer and add alternately a meat ball and a piece of red pepper. Brush with oil and grill for about 10 minutes each, turning frequently

Cheesy Burgers
500g Pork Steak
1 Garlic Clove
5 Tbsp. Clear Stock
2 Slices of White Bread
2 Tbsp. Of Butter or Margerine
2 Egg Yolks
100g Sheeps Cheese
Salt and Pepper
Chives
Dill
Oil
Zest of a Lemon
Soy Sauce

Mince the pork. Peel and crush the garlic clove. Grate the lemon zest and add to the stock together with a dash of Soy sauce. Pour this over the mince and mix in. Leave this in the fridge for about an hour. Cut the crust off of the bread, chop to ½ cm cubes and toast in the butter or margerine. Mix this together with your mince and put this mixture through the mincer, than add egg yolks, chives and dill and mix thoroughly. Cut the sheeps cheese into 4 equal portions. Divide the mince into 4 equal portions. Take a piece of cheese and cover it with a portion of the burger mixture, making it into a burger type shape but making sure that the chees is well covered. Brush burgers with oil and grill for 7 - 8 minutes each.
